Denzel chases a Runaway train in 'Unstoppable'

Ok folks so this seems to be yet another way over the top exaggerated version of a True Story movie lol.But the plus side of it is that it has one of my favorite actors in it......Denzel Washington(I mean really who doesnt love Denzel? I love you

).

He plays a freight train engineer who bands together with a rookie rail operator to try and stop a high speed freight escort carrying a dangerous load as it flies down the tracks through several townships at over 60mph lol.

It is supposed to be loosley based on an actual event that occured with a CSX freight service train traveling through Iowa in May of 2001 that was out of control.

The film drops This November 12th in theatres everywhere.

Hehe,yes certainly is still one of my favorite actors,just because he is always so classy in all of his films.

This looks like a great movie Colt,I will definetly check it out in November.

Whoa!that reminds me of living by the train tracks when we were in Blythesdale,Ark.

When I was little I always kinda wondered and worried that a big freight train would derail and smash our house to peices lol.Thankfully it never happened Shocked

Yea evan I know what you mean rofl,here in town(Champaign,IL) there is an Arby's drivethrough that is narrowed literally between the resteraunt itself and a short-hill where there are train tracks and where freight cars go by constantly with no wall or gaurd rails or anything to prevent those tons of steel from coming over and crushing vehicles and or demolishing the resteraunt in the event of a derailment.

It makes me feel vulnerable everytime I go for an Arby's melt lol. Laughing

lol Evan I think Rosario Dawsons literal overreACTING in the scene is what gave it away most.Im sure none of that happened in the real life event.

yea it was a bit of a stinker....way too large a budget and trying to be way too convincing over a free running train on the tracks lol....like one film critic said.........just get out of the damn way! Cool

I finally got around to seeing this movie and I gotta admit that 120 million dollars,3 frieght trains an explosion and 1 and a half hours later Im somewhat impressed.

Not bad for a movie specifically about a unmanned locomotive being chased down.

They did good exaggerating an complicating the true story to make it seem more dramatic.THUMBS UP!

Yea I just bought that movie on DVD last week.Did you know that Denzel did all his own stunts in that film?

They also leased out railway for shooting instead of using computer graghics.
