violence wrecks people's lives and their families.My uncle was paralyzed after being shot 17 years ago for his truck and wallet.The dumb kids that did it were only given 3 years in juvenile.

People that hurt other people to gain personal advantage make me sick!

Now why did that poor man dserve to have his face disfigured like that?

yea I know what you mean Lily......I personally have seen and experienced violent crime before myself and always looked back and wondered if the situation could have been more volatile.

People here like to blame it on guns(btw Im glad you didnt)but its not.its a human interaction issue.Just like online..offline people simply dont know how to respect and treat each other and that leads to provactive behavior and rash acts and follow through a vicious cycle.

Well I think a key starting point to everyone respecting others is to recognize that everyone is equal and has feelings,wants and needs just like themselves.

And yes I come from a very pro-gun and military family so it would be hard for me to harp about that even though I do think they are far too easily accessible in this country(as is obvious everytime you turn on the news).
