As a kid, I'd say Nightmare on Elm Street,
Friday the 13th and Halloween (Michael
Myers), have always! scared the sh*t out
of me.

But, my favorite would have to be the Texas
Chainsaw Massacre (2003), as it's not just your
average slasher movie. But, based on actual events.

To be honest I make it a habit not to watch any gross em out type horror films seeing that most of them have more of a sexual or gorry preference than actual fear.

However these two more real movies that werent listed as horror films are two of my all time favorite pics for scary flicks

A case of road rage leads to a day long drama of a frightened motorist(Dennis Weaver)fleeing from an enraged and determined but anonymous tanker trucker on open road.Truly a Hollywood classic.



A paranoid terrorism professor and husband of a slain FBI agent(Jeff Bridges) spy's repeatedly on his new neighbor in an upper middleclass suburb of Virginia.Although many discredit his obssessive behavior,his suspicions about the guy next door(Tim Robbins)turn out to be true.

I haven't seen Arlington Road.
But, I did see Duel and it reminds
me alittle of Joyride (2001).

It has it's share of comedial moments.
But, overall, it's pretty damn good and I'd
rank it somewhere in my top 50 Thrillers.

Best of all time.

As a later life San fransiscan I have heard the tales of the Zodiac and coming from the east Coast and remembering the stories of Son of Sam from New York it has constantly sent chills down my spine.......

not about what the zodiac did or may have done but that of all the notorious American serial killers;Ted Bundy,Green River Killer,Son of Sam,John Wayne Gacy,Atlanta Child Killer,BTK killer,Hillside Strangler,Bost Stangler etc........the Zodiac was the only one to get away without ever getting caught and disappear into thin air.

Who knows....

Is he still out there,did he die is he in prison?How many did he kill?Who was the last victim to ever see his face?

Chilling crime saga but great movie.

I dont care to much for the goriness of FD but this by far was Final destination 2 was the best one they made.I only pay attention the liek the first 15 minutes of the film with the car pileup because it was so realistic and has in the years that I have seen it reminded me to drive safel while on the out road.
