Rockstar Games are currently working on promoting their upcoming 50's detective game L.A. Noire which is set for release sometime between the start of March and the end of May, Rockstar North are currently working on another crime-detective epic exclusive to the Playstation 3, Agent. When L.A. Noire's release is out of the way, granted if nothing else pops up (Agent taking L.A. Noire's place on Rockstar Games' agenda), leaves room for an announcement and the promotion of the next Grand Theft Auto game from June-onward. Keep an eye out on this website over the next few months, if there is an official announcement for the next Grand Theft Auto, you will hear about it here!

The indications are that Rockstar may be too heavily involved in putting the finishing touches on the development on such long awaited arrivals as L.A.Noire(been advertised since 2006) to have a V game out by this year,even late.The earliest is looking like 2012...maybe and the indicatiosn are that they will return to the west coast likely with a remake of San Andreas or just Los Angeles:

seems we are gettign closer to the day of announcement.(fingers crossed).Probably looking at a mid to late 2013 release date.now that L.A.Noire is out of the way there are many rumors coming from credible sources that Rockstar is currently in the begginign stages of its next biggest project GTAV.

And hopefully they wont hold back this time.

They claim a person claiming to be a Rockstar employee leaked a blurred image of the map on twitter though I dunno,it looks maybe real but i doubt anyone that wants to keep working there would be that dumb.
