So who's your favorite fighters
and how are they doing so far?

Here's mine...

Heavyweight IBF & WBO Champion (Unlimited):

Wladimir Klitchko (55-3, 49 KO's)

Wlad, is scheduled to fight Bri
-ish contender Dereck Chisora
(14-0, 9 KO's), on April 30th.

Cuiserweight WBO Champion (200 lbs):

Marko Huck (31-1, 23 KO's)

Marko's, currently taking a well
earned break and nursing a rib in
-jury suffered in his latest contro
-versial decision victory over Denis
Lebedev (21-1, 16 KO's), on Dec 18
-th 2010.

Light Heavyweight WBC Champion (175 lbs):

Chad Dawson (29-1-1, 17 KO's)

Chad recently suffered his first lost
to the new WBC/IBO LH Champion,
Jean Pascal (26-1-1, 16 KO's), last
August. The fight was stopped in the
11th round due to an accidental head
-butt, that caused a 3 inch gash over
Chad's left.

I saw that fight and Jean, got lucky in
opinion, because he definitely would've
gotten knocked out if not for that cut.
but it is what it is and congrats! to him.

Super Middleweight IBF Champion (168 lbs):

Lucian Bute (27-0, 22 KO's)

Lucian, is scheduled to fight current
Super Middleweight IBO Champion,
Brian Magee (34-3-1, 24 KO's), on
March 19th 2011.

Middlewight WBO Champion (160 lbs):

Dmitry Pirog (17-0, 14 KO's)

No news has been posted for Dmitry,
since his upset KO victory over former
MW WBO Champ Daniel Jacobs (20-1,
17 KO's), on July 31st 2010.

Junior Middleweight/Super Welterweight WBC Champion (154 lbs):

Floyd Mayweather (41-0, 25 KO's)

At the moments Floyd's, currently facing
some pretty serious legal issues, that may
land him in jail for the next 34 years.

Welterweight WBO Champion (147):

Manny Pacquiao (52-3, 38 KO's)

Manny's, set to fight former WW Champion,
Shane Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KO's), on May 7th

I also know that they can say wtf they want about Ali being the greatest......

Joe Louis was the greatest boxer of all time.

Some of Joe's most memorable fights were against James Braddock (the Cinderella Man) for the title,Billy Conn who almost took his title and the German Max Schmelling who was the only man to defeat Louis in his prime in 1936.

Their 1938 rematch for th HW title was so anticipated that in a documentary they said that it still holds the record in the U.S. for the most followed broadcast sports even in history with over half the U.S. population having their radios tuned to the fight that night Shocked

There was so much political clout in the match because the Nazi's had plunged Europe into the begginning of World War 2 and anti-semitism was now no longer just a rumor but a known fact.

"That fight turned into more then just two guys fighting each other......it was everything " one New York post sports writer wrote.

Before the fight President Franklin D.Roosevelt summoned Joe to the White House and told him that it was his patriotich duty to defeat the german Rolling Eyes (saying that to a black man in Jim Crow era lol).

Hitler's Nazi Vermacht ordered that all soldiers at their bases be awoken at 6 am and that the fight be broadcast on loudspeakers throughout the military districts.

When Joe destroyed the German the police commisioner ordered all of Harlem district in NYC closed off to car traffic all night so that Negro's living there could celebrate. When asked why by a reporter he said......."This is their night" Suspect lol.

One of the top 5 greatest sports moments in WORLD history.

Yea man, that's one fight, I definitely
can't wait to see! Then again, it probably
may never happen because Floyd's cur-
rently facing some pretty serious charges
that may land him in jail for the next 34
years. No

Yea, it's unfortunate that he fought my all time
great (Rocky Marciano), nearing the end of his
boxing career at 37. Would've been an awesome
fight, were they not 9 years apart from eachother.

Though, I'm sure most could also argue "Archie
Moore," as the greatest boxer of all time with 185
wins, 131 KO's and 23 loses. Shocked

Yea my dad and alot of others say that that fight would have gone much differently if both had been in their prime or atleast it would have been a more even matchup without Joe being closer to 40 then 30.

As far as Archie, yea I know he jad alot of wins but then you can to consider, just like with Fedor the quality of competition.I mean with all do respect to Mr.Moore,If you knockout 300 scrubs but lose to one pro then what is that really saying yo know?

I'd have to look up Archie's record to be certain. What made Joe so great is that he not only fought but beat a who's who of the best in the game back then like if there wasnt all this marketing and ownership contract crap in MMA now the best like Silva would be fighting the likes of Fedor and the such.

Joe beat Conn,Baer,Carnera,Braddock,Schmelling, etc.Not even Ali had a record against HW greats that good(and mind you those are just the ones I can remember right now lol.
