| Who here actually does?? Not many I assume? Well neither have I up to date, but after getting those blood tests done that picked up my thyroid problem at the time that i didn't know existed, it's wise to. I questioned when i got my tests back, should I go for an annual check up and what's involved.. (funny thing is, you never hear about doctor check ups being advertised or spoken of.. while you always hear.. you should get your car sercived once a year or 10,000 ks etc, no one says much about doctor check ups) He says he does a whole toe to head physical check up, and does a range of tests including heart rate, cholestrol, and blood tests to test all of your bodies hormone figures and organ function.. I may do that soon actually lol... |

| Well given the various types of chemical agents we work with on a daily basis ( zinc, cadmium, beryllium, iron oxide, mercury, lead, fluorides, etc, etc, etc). OSHA ( Occupational Safety & Health Administration), including the company I work for is very strict when it comes to our health concerns and aside from random drug testing, it's also mandatory that we get yearly physicals ( head to toe) every January. So yea, I guess I'm one of the unfortunate few here as well, lol. Though unlike some of my more elder co workers, luckily a Prostate screening wasn't necessary just yet, lol. Then again, after watching a few 'Dr Oz' shows, maybe getting a Colonoscopy even if not recommended isn't such a bad idea after all ( you never know eh?). |

I do want to try to an appointment at the nearby Carle Spine Institute to see if they might have any treatments that can help the spasm that I constandly suffer as a result of having bad posture in my back. But first I have to wait for my health insurance benefits to restart(long story lol). |

Once you start seeing similarities in the causes of different symtoms you can narrow the list of possible causes and go to the doctors office or hospital with these finds.Speaking from experience,I as a nurse I can tell you that doctors would much rather know what to start of testing and looking for instead of just running multiple tests having no idea where the source of the problem may be eminating from. |
